Join Refuse Fascism protest – on hold until it’s not so cold (usuallyMondays from 3-4pm on the Frontage Rd. sidewalk outside the Towers East Gate). Call/email/write your Mayor and Local Representative and demand legislation that protects CT:
– ICE agents not be masked, always identify their name/agency
– Always have judicial warrant, no warrantless sweeps
– Require local police to intervene with ICE & stop them when acting illegally.
– And: allow citizens to sue ICE if their civil rights are violated.
Recent Past Actions
Next GNHI Meeting: Saturday, February 28th, 10:15am-12pm at Stetson Library, 197 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511. We are planning on an Observer Training and a report from a GNHI member & local business owner about organizing local neighborhood business owners in Know Your Rights as well as a rapid-notification network. We will also spend a little bit of time discussing and starting to organize for the No Kings protest on March 28th.
